After almost 30 years of production, Ford is retiring the Ranger on December 22, 2011. News comes from the United Auto Worker 879 newsletter, UAW 879 covers factory workers at Ford‘s Twin Cities assembly plant in Minnesota. Come check out the Nissan Frontier, a similar truck, at your Metro Seattle Nissan dealer. Ford reports that Ranger buyers usually purchase this vehicle because they are looking for an inexpensive and economical vehicle. Ford is also hoping that potential Ranger buyers will now look to the F-150.
