Andy Palmer, executive vice president for vehicle planning and program management at Nissan, has decided to push back development of the next generation Nissan Titan. The decision is due to the flooding in Thailand and earthquakes in Japan, which will cause production delays meaning we will not see the next-generation until the 2014 model year. Originally Nissan planned to co-develop the successor with Chrysler, but they went into bankruptcy before that could happen. Come check out the Titan at your 2012 Nissan Titan Tacoma dealer. The current Titan debuted in 2004 making it one of the oldest platforms.
