Nissan North America announced the official pricing for the 2011 Maxima and Sentra sedans last week. Prices range from $30k-$33k for the Maxima and $15k-$20k for the Sentra, depending on trip types.

The 2011 Maxima doesn’t fall short of its reputation as the original 4-Door Sports Car™. Both the Maxima 3.5 S and Maxima 3.5 SV models come standard with a 290-horsepower 3.5-liter DOHC 24-valve VQ-series V6 engine and Xtronic CVT™ with manual and “Ds” (drive sport) modes and available paddle shifters. On the upgrade front, the Maxima receives smoked headlights, a darkened chrome grill and “shiny gray interior stitching” on sport models, along with a new exhaust pipe finisher. Metallic Slate and Brilliant Silver have also been added to the Maxima’s paint palate for the 2010 model year. MSRP for the 2011 Maxima rings in at $30,810 for the entry-level 3.5S CVT trim type, and tops out with the sportier SV model at MSRP $33,530.

Nissan has added a six-speed manual Sentra for the 2011 model year, giving the range of Sentras a new entry-level model. This drops the entry-level price for the Sentra to an incredibly affordable MSRP of $15,520. The SE-R Spec V 2.5 model tops out the model price range with an MSRP of $20,080.

Both models are now on sale at Nissan dealerships nationwide.
